There is more to do here than the museum alone. Some of it is ours and some of it is the Science Center’s, so here is what each of us runs.
One building, two teams
Your museum admission covers the self-guided walk-through and the outdoor play park. The three guided tours are the Science Center’s own, led by their staff on their own schedule, and are not included with museum admission. Their tours run at the top and bottom of the hour, and their front desk sets your times when you arrive. See what the Science Center offers (opens in a new tab).
Creation Education Museum
The exhibits are yours to walk at your own pace. Scan the QR code at each station for the audio tour, and look for the Ohio Fossil Find, a collection of fossils, minerals and rocks from around the state. See the exhibits.
Akron Fossils & Science Center
Hold and touch real fossils, with a member of the Science Center staff walking your group through the collection.

Meet the live animal collection up close. Staff bring the animals out and introduce them one at a time.

Cast your own trilobite replica and take it home with you. Run by Science Center staff.
Included with museum admission
Two acres outdoors with a slide, swings, a merry-go-round and a mini challenge course, plus a covered pavilion for lunches. Open when the weather allows.
Akron Fossils & Science Center
Two hundred feet through the trees, in a harness and helmet. Science Center staff run it. There is an extra charge, and it depends on the weather and on availability.
Would you rather not walk the museum alone? A Guided Tour takes your group through the exhibits with someone there to answer questions, and the Founder’s Tour is given by Bill Sanderson, whose original vision the museum grew from. See Tours.
