Why Creation?
The fundamental bedrock of answering some of life’s toughest questions can be found in studying creation. Whether or not you’ve sat down to consider it, these questions are inherent to mankind. Here we will show you the answers we’ve arrived at through our Biblical worldview.
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

The evidence is not the reason.
Walk through the museum and you will find fossils, rock layers, models and a great deal of evidence. None of that is why the museum is here. It is here because of six questions underneath the evidence, and you have already answered them, whether or not anybody ever asked you to.
Where did everything come from? Why does so much of it look designed? What counts as science? Who decides what is true? What is a person actually worth? And what happens next?
We believe that God created the universe, that His word is true and reliable, and that the evidence you can see and hold fits that record. Due to this, our worldview is shaped through the testimony of the Scriptures and helps us answer these very profound questions that lie on the hearts and minds of every man, woman, and child.
Take a look through these six questions and ask yourself where you stand, and what helps you make sense of them, given all the evidence before you.

No one can be neutral on any of these questions; each one is answered by your worldview.
The question of origins
Where did everything come from?
Something is here rather than nothing, and that has to be accounted for somehow. Scientists once considered the universe to be eternal, but that can no longer be sustained based on the evidence in astronomy and physics. So, either the universe created itself through a process no one has ever observed, or it was made by somebody who was already there.
We hold that it was created, on purpose, by a God who was already there.
This is not a gap in the science that gets filled in later. It is the starting point everything else comes from. The non-created eternal God fashioned the created temporal reality we exist within. The question you need to ask is: are you willing to believe in the testimony of God, or the philosophy of man?
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The question of design
Why does so much of it look designed?
When you see a chair, you can recognize the structural and architectural aspects of design. You do not need a degree to notice that it is engineered, and the same happens when you study the creation around us.

A wing, an eye, a single cell or a strand of DNA all hold patterns of incredible design. The closer anyone looks at these structures, the more clear the picture of design becomes. Did that structure in nature come about by a mindless, unguided process, or (like the chair) was it crafted by a designer whose signature is in everything we can touch and see?
We believe the Biblical account. Complexity that specific is evidence, not coincidence.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

The question of science
What counts as Science?
This word gets used two ways and they are not the same thing. One is a method: careful observation, measurement, and experiments anyone can run again. The other is a story about a past nobody watched, told in the method’s name and carrying the method’s authority.
We hold to the first without reservation. It is the second we are asking you to look at closely.
Johannes Kepler is famous for saying that science was merely thinking God’s thoughts after Him. In fact, most every genre of science was pioneered by those who put their faith in the Creator, which allowed them to discover and ratify these fields of scientific inquiry.
Science is founded on the ability to question things and investigate them. So question all of it, examine the evidence and don’t trust the narrative of academia if it isn’t willing to put its own worldview under the microscope.

The question of authority
Who decides what is true?
Every claim about reality is a claim of truth. The authority backing up the claim is what settles a matter, not whether it sounds good or makes sense. If the source of truth is a variable based on the ever-changing cultural narrative of the time, then there is no concrete answer. None of the physical laws of the universe operate that way, and neither should our understanding of them. Ultimately whatever authority you submit to is going to provide the answers to these questions.
Ours rests on the Bible, which we take as God’s own account of what He did. We count it as reliable about science, history, prophecy, and salvation. This is a large claim and we do not make it carelessly. It can be tested wherever Scripture touches the reality around us: in archaeology, in written records, in astronomy, and in geology.
You are free to weigh our source against any other. We only ask that you notice that everybody is standing on one. Can you trust yours?

The question of purpose
What is a person actually worth?
Worth is determined by scarcity, and you are as unique as a snowflake. Never repeated, never duplicated, and impossible to replace. Was that the product of a long string of random processes from reconstituted stardust, or are you made in the image of your Maker, designed for a purpose?
The Bible says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that your own soul knows this to be true (Psalm 139:14). Your worth is priceless and was settled before you ever got here, and no one can take that away.
Having a relationship with the Creator is the principal reason man exists. Creation is testifying that everyone matters, and that is why we treat life as so incredibly precious.
We believe that you were designed with a purpose, and that is to be a reflection of the God who made you.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The question of what’s next
Then what?
There is one fact on this page that no worldview argues with. You are going to die, and so is everyone you love. Every answer above has to meet that, or it is not worth much.
Suppose it is all true. Suppose the world was made, designed, and discoverable, that God’s word is reliable, and that you were made with a purpose. That is not something anybody gets to tuck away, because the same record goes on to say something else: that things went wrong early when sin separated us, and that God did something about it.
That is what all the evidence points to. Not for you to adopt a viewpoint, but for you to know that the same God who made the universe also made you, and has opened the way back to Himself.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
