Who We Are
One organization, reaching out in two directions. This is the branch that explores the origin question.
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
Hebrews 1:10
Two places in one
Two branches, one tree.
Come through our front door and you are in one building, run by one organization, with one set of people behind it. What happens inside reaches in two directions. The Science Center is the community education branch. The Creation Education Museum is the creation education branch. Same tree, different branches with different goals.
The community branch
Akron Fossils & Science Center
AFSC is the hands-on side with homeschool groups, summer camps, and birthday parties. It exists to give visitors, students, and campers an affordable way to explore the science of the world past, present, and future, with the conviction that the best way to learn science is to experience it.

Creation Education Museum
The museum is the side that discusses the origins of the universe. It presents the evidence for creation science, hosts informative and engaging lectures, and carries the Biblical message through activities and events throughout the year. The museum is housed in the same building and is the anchor point for the origin of the science center.

What the Museum Branch Does
-
Presents the Evidence
The exhibits put the questions on the wall in plain words and set the evidence out beneath them. The fossil record, rock layers, dating methods, and the origin of life are all discussed. We give you honest answers based on observation and scientific processes, letting you come to your own conclusion.

Informative Lectures
A few evenings a year we bring in an expert speaker to take this subject matter further than a wall panel could carry it. Our lectures provide in-depth information on microbiology, flood geology, anthropology, and so much more. When a church or a school would rather we came to them, we do that too.
Creation Speaks → -
Carries the Message
The fossils and exhibits are not the reason the museum exists. In the museum, in the events we run through the year, and in what we put in your hands, the purpose is the same: to point to the God who created everything. This museum is dedicated to leading people to the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
Why Creation? →
The two branches were formally separated in 2016, when the museum became its own entity with its own focus. The fuller history, including the man who founded it, is on the Our Story page.
