What Happened to the Mastodons and Mammoths?
We know there are living fossils because God made all kinds of animals. After the flood some creatures have become extinct, and some have not. Come see a mastodon found in a bog at the Burning Tree golf course in Newark, Ohio! It was 95% intact! The Creation Education Museum looks at the mastodon’s dna, lack of material decay and other facts that point to a young earth!
When you visit the Creation Education Museum you and your family will be amazed at the size of the mastodon which towers over its visitors.
Fossils are found in every county in the state of Ohio, but southwestern Ohio is known around the world for its well-preserved marine fossils. Rocks exposed here were deposited about 4500 years ago, during the Ordovician Period, when Ohio was covered by a shallow sea flood.
